What UIH is

UIH searches physician conversations, peer-reviewed research, professional-organization commentary, and institutional publications together. One query, seven sources, ranked evidence with links back to every original page.

What UIH is not

• Not an autonomous agent — every result links to a source.
• Not a training corpus — text is retrieved for search, not model training.
• Not for external publication — internal ABIM use only.
• Not a legal opinion on any source.

How it decides what to show

For each query, UIH searches every enabled source and blends the top passages together. Results are ranked by semantic relevance, with a cap on how many passages come from any single document so one long thread cannot drown out the others. Click a result to open the original page.

Data handling

Sources are indexed under robots-compatible public access. Content is stored locally for retrieval; UIH does not redistribute source text and respects robots.txt / opt-out signals when they are observed.
